She is an independent recording artist known for her work as a singer-songwriter, writing all of the original songs she has released. Shore performs across several genres including pop, R&B, country, and Christian pop. She is also known for live performances, including busking in the New York City subway system, and maintains a presence on the social media platform TikTok under the handle @alliedasinger.

==Early life and education==

Shore was born in Norwich, New York, to Heather Mead (née Shore) and Adam Howard. She has two siblings, Michael Potter and a sister on her father's side.

She attended Hamilton Central School in Hamilton, New York, where she participated in musical theatre productions and school performances. During her teenage years she also performed at regional events including the Erie Canal Festival and the New York State Fair.

After graduating in 2012, Shore briefly attended the State University of New York at Fredonia, where she studied music before pursuing a professional performance career.

 

===Music and live performance===

Shore is an independent artist who writes and performs her own original music. As a singer-songwriter, she has written all of the songs released under her name.

Her musical style spans several genres including pop, R&B, country, and Christian pop.

In 2017 she competed at the Endicott Performing Arts Center and performed the national anthem at a game for the Binghamton Rumble Ponies, a Minor League Baseball affiliate.

After relocating to Los Angeles, Shore began busking and performing in public venues. She later returned to New York City, where she became known for busking within the New York City subway system.

In 2024 and 2025 she performed at the Apollo Theater in Harlem.

In addition to music, Shore has published several books spanning fiction, memoir, and mental health topics.
